Kalmar RT240 RTCH

Depth Logistics owns and operates a Kalmar RT240 Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH).

The RTCH was designed for military use so is able to operate in all kinds of terrain and surfaces. It is ideal for material handling in remote locations where there are no paved surfaces.

It can be used to load and discharge cargo from landing craft at beaches. Our RTCH can be teamed with Modifier to deliver cargo anywhere on the coast.

We have the full spectrum of lifting attachments including 20’ and 40’ container spreaders and forklift frame. With a lifting capacity of 25t and stacking capacity of three containers high there is not a more versatile reach stacker you can get. The RT240 has superior capabilities to a 25t Franna mobile crane.

Our Kalmar RT240 RTCH is ex-military and we believe is the only one in civilian operation in Australia. It is based from our Depth Defence Logistics Centre in Darwin and can be hired short or long term for deployment anywhere by road or Modifier.
